The problem
Parents needed cry translation and monitoring that worked on-device, with feeding, sleep, and diaper tracking in one mobile product ready for Play Store launch.
What we did
- 01Finished and shipped the Android app end to end as mobile lead on contract
- 02Integrated on-device voice ML (mic capture → inference → parent alerts)
- 03Two-phone baby monitor, care tracking, and soothing-sound flows
- 04Closed launch blockers and Play Store readiness for the July 2024 release
Outcome
- Google Play launch July 2024; credited on the founder’s Android launch post
- On-device cry detection shipped without requiring cloud for the common path
- Listing later removed after the startup wound down (non-funding) — engagement remains a public reference
